These weeks are sure passing by so quickly. Well, I guess that is what happens when time decides to pass you by so quickly. But I digress, how have you all been? I've been busy as always working on these stories of mine, but here's some good news. For those of you who have followed my story, The True Nightmare, I have got some more information on the subject.
I've decided (again) to bring my full attention to the stories third installment so hopefully the process should be much quicker. I know you've all been waiting patiently for this, but my proofreader takes a while to contact, not to mention for how many chapters there are. To be honest, this third story is possibly the longest in the series. I don't kid you.
The last time I checked, I'm pushing over... 31+ chapters. This is truly the longest story I have ever worked with and as I have been writing and planning, I realized how screwed up this story is.
I mean I knew from the start how gory and messed up the Xenomorph and Predator makes everything whenever they're around, but to realize what's happening in my story, I was about appalled by what I had to write. Normally, I am never a violent guy. I've definitely played some video games that are pretty gory and violent, to a point that even disturbs me and more. But surprisingly, none of this has desensitized me at all for the real life stuff. (Which of course is a good thing.) But I am surprised to what I have to write. Although I'm possibly exaggerating, I have found a few events that are quite screwed up, so I hope you all will enjoy the mess that is the chaotic aftermath of fighting both the Xenomorphs and Predators. Even with this screwed up story, I still have enjoyed writing it.
But a funny thought I compared this writing project to was a movie production. I mean it's taken a while to get done that I sometimes feel like I'm making a movie rather than the story on a fan fiction website. Although this would probably never make it to a point like that, I'd be excited to see it become a movie, even though the odds of that ever happening are highly unlikely.
Anywho, progress is better now that I'm just focusing on this story alone. So to those of you who are waiting patiently, I am thankful for you in doing that. With the time that's being spent on it, quality should be much better than ever before. So again, I thank you all for waiting and in return, this story is going to be superfun! (Oh, and by the way? If anyone has anymore questions that I was not able to answer in the question blog I posted a while ago, I'd be glad to answer some more to the best of my ability, while also trying to avoid spoiling anything.)
