Pokemon still holds the lead with 97,973 images. 1,210 new explicit images were added during June.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is in second place with 74,025 images. 2,011 new explicit images were added during June.
Touhou is in third place with 59,374 images. 1,366 new explicit images were added during June.
DC Comics is in fourth place with 26,618 images. 182 new explicit images were added during June.
Street Fighter is in fifth place with 21,435 images. 102 new explicit images were added during June.
Naruto is in sixth place with 21,112 images. 204 new explicit images were added during June.
Marvel Comics is in seventh place with 20,469 images. 223 new explicit images were added during June.
Sonic Team is in eighth place with 20,187 images. 191 new explicit images were added during June.
Super Mario Bros is now in ninth place with 15,015 images. 297 new explicit images were added during June.
Digimon is now in tenth place with 14,959 images. 174 new explicit images were added during June.
My Little Pony generated 2,000+ images for the second month in a row! If the series can exceed 2,000 images next month, it will tie its previous personal best, which took place from December 2013 to February 2014. More than 7,000 explicit images were created during that three month period.
Super Mario Bros is now in ninth place after surpassing Digimon!
I thought Street Fighter would have generated more Rule 34 in June after the announcement of Ryu being a playable character in Super Smash Bros for the Wii U and 3DS.
I expected to see Rule 34 of Ryu paired with all the other characters from Smash Bros, but there were only a few pictures of Ryu and Princess Peach.
Now that we've gone over the monthly update for the top ten porn producers, it's time to analyze the latest data regarding Rule 34 images for the mane six.
As of July 10, 2015, here's the state of Rule 34 for the mane six, according to Rule34.paheal.net:
Twilight Sparkle
has 10,847 images. 258 explicit images were added during June.
Rainbow Dash
has 8,829 images. 222 explicit images were added during June.
Fluttershy
has 8,699 images. 266 explicit images were added during June.
Pinkie Pie
has 7,646 images. 195 explicit images were added during June.
Rarity
has 7,219 images. 216 explicit images were added during June.
Applejack
has 6,947 images. 145 explicit images were added during June.
No real milestones this time, but Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Applejack are all poised to reach new goals next month. It was surprising how much more Rule 34 content Rarity was able to generate in June when compared to Applejack. She must've been working overtime to pad her numbers.

So, how about that 100th episode?
Last month I created a group called Lawlee and Shawta Presents. It was soon removed from the site, with an explanation from the FIMfiction MODs.
I am going to attempt to make this clear here. This is not going to be an exploitable loophole.
In no way is an adult anthro changeling transforming into an underage anthro character make this allowable on the site. This is not a rule you are going to be able to dodge in any way without characters either being adults at least 18 years of age or full ponies.
Under no circumstances are there ever to be any underage human/anthro characters in explicit/mature situations. No 10,000 year old vampire loli, no adult changeling as a child, nothing. If the end result is some sort of underage anthro/human character in a sexually explicit situation, it's not allowed in any form on this site nor can it be linked.
Because your group, Lawlee and Shawta Presents, serves no purpose other than encouraging the writing of tongue in cheek loli/shota stories, it has been removed from this site.
Do not weep for Lawlee and Shawta. They were an experiment created to test the limitations of creative expression on FIMfiction. I got my answer.
Since the outward appearance seemed to matter more than the actual age of the characters having sex, I wondered if the opposite would hold true, so I asked for further clarification.
I'm going to assume this goes for dead characters as well as living? No corpse sex with a dead, preteen Applebloom, right?
What about the portal between Equestria and Canterlot High? Could you write a story where preteen Applebloom is caught between worlds? Her top half is sticking out of the portal on the Canterlot High side and her lower half is sticking out of the Equestria side. Could the lower half of her have sex as long as she was in pony form? If she wanted to give oral sex, would she have to turn around in the portal so her face was sticking through the Equestian side as a pony?
Or, if having her human reactions to currently having sex as a pony is too close to the line, what about throwing a preteen human character completely through the portal, so they wind up as 100% pony prior to any sex? Humanized preteen Applebloom gets flung from her dimension and winds up as a pony in Equestria. Can anything happen to her, or do we still need to impose the same restrictions we would as though she were a human?
Speaking of transformations, what's to stop someone from just transforming a character into a pony prior to any sexual scenes?
The rejection of adult changelings as a substitute for underage characters tells me that the outward appearance is what's most important. Since ponies are the only versions of characters without any sexual limitations regarding age, can you turn underage human or anthro characters into ponies for the sake of clop? Could an anthro Rarity use magic to turn anthro Sweetie Belle into a 100% pony for the expressed purpose of having sex? Would they be allowed to transform back after sex, or would they have to remain a pony, since you couldn't have Sweetie Belle talk as an anthro character about what it was like to have sex as a pony.
The MODs responded:
If a character's only significant instance of being a pony is when having sex and nothing more, then no. When the point of the story is to show the characters are human/anthro for the entire fic until they're in bed with someone else, then there's no difference with them being a pony for 30 seconds in a scene. No half-pony, no single-scene pony, nada.
You want a character to have sex, it's got to be a pony for the majority of its relevance to the story, or it's got to be an adult. We are not going to play the loophole game.
I miss the good old days when a mature rating gave you the ability to write a clopfic without setting limits on what fetishes were allowed. This site isn't the only place dealing with censorship issues. The source of all my data, rule34.paheal.net, is dealing with its own issues.
The landscape of online pornography is rapidly changing. More and more I am getting notices from Government agencies informing me that Paheal is going to be IP blocked countrywide due to some of the content contained on this site. Some of these countries are of little consequence, but others constitute a massive chunk of our user base. Usually when I get these notices, it's for a specific image that was reported to said agency. But a few days ago I got a number of notices from a number of countries citing large blocks of images. Soon enough it is going to become a crystal clear decision... remove cited material or risk the site being IP blocked...
Site operators will soon have zero control anymore. If they can't get an administrator to remove the content they want gone, then they will blacklist the site and prevent its citizens access at the ISP level. This is the world we live in today. Hentai Foundry fell prey to this and caved in a big big way. Bigger than we ever did.
Last Sunday (5th of July) and Tuesday (7th of July) I got notifications of "indexing"/"blacklisting" by two European countries and one South American country. This is on top of the constant notifications from the Russians that an IP block is on the horizon.
When faced with a choice between removing content or risk having a large percent of our user base blocked from the site entirely, in my mind there is only one option for now (I say for now because I am looking at options and alternatives that would satisfy everyone EDIT: Just to clarify, I am looking at alternative hosting in other countries.). As time goes on, things might get better or worse but for now this seems like a way to keep us from having to make even bigger sacrifices in terms of content.
But that is not an acceptable excuse for the deletions.
You, as a community have kept this site alive. You have stuck with us through years of this shit and removing large sections of the site without informing you one way or another was a mistake. It was laziness on my part to bulk remove a tag without prior notice and I apologize to both the users and the artists.
However while sifting through some of the content that was referenced in the notifications I got, I found some poorly masked CP that had been there for some time. The stuff in question was of Penny from Bolt. Even the users were commenting on these images saying it was what it was yet nobody reported them or brought them to our attention. This is the kind of thing I NEED the users to be vigilant about. And its the kind of thing, when reported and dealt with, that will keep Paheals nose above the water and keep the site free of content that breaks the law. This stuff has no place on the site and I want to make it crystal clear that such images will result in the same kind of response we take to regular CP uploaders.
Also, we have not allowed Toddlercon type content for a few years now and the Vanellope von Schweetz images almost universally fell into that category. On some of the other tags that were deleted, we are tightening up Rule 1.5 to include images depicting underage characters based on body proportions. This doesn't vindicate the mass removals from yesterday. More scrutiny will be made on an image by image basis instead of just mass removals from now on.From a personal perspective, I've ran Paheal for 8 years. 8 years is a long time and a lot can change. The law is the law and when you have a gun to your head, sometimes shitty decisions have to be made. Hyperbole has no place in a statement like this, but sometimes it does feel like there is a gun to my head. I have a family now, I have personal responsibilities that make running a site like Paheal stressful. Especially when tough decisions on content need to be made. I cant ignore this stuff and hope it goes away.
Anyway, I know this is frustrating for you, I know it's weak to give in to censorship and I know it seems unfair. We hate it as much as you do. But I would hope that you understand removing a relatively small part of the site in order to keep the site as a whole is better than having nothing at all. And I admit that the recent deletions were far too heavy handed and lazy. In future I will be more careful with what I do and I will notify and listen to you before I make drastic changes to the content. Thanks for reading.

Intrigued by the response of the FIMfiction MODs, I asked for further clarification regarding specific scenarios.
So, how about an anthro world where puberty is more akin to the evolution found in Pokemon? All characters of legal age have pony faces with anthropomorphized hands and feet. They walk on two legs up right.
All characters under 18 are 100% pony. They walk on four hooves, have tails, etc...
In such a universe, would there be any opposition to an anthro Big Mac having sex with a 100% pony Sweetie Belle? She's not a "legal adult," but she's also 100% pony, so I don't think that should matter.
They have consensual sex on the eve of her 18th birthday. During the sex, Sweetie Belle's body begins to glow. Her hooves turn into arms and legs. She grows a pair of breasts and becomes twice as tall. She just turned 18 and is now a full legal adult.
The MODs answer was a single word.
Fine.
So, with that understanding in mind, let's set the stage, shall we?
The sun was setting behind the mountains as two anthro changelings were forcibly shoved through the large gates which separated the lush beauty of Equestria from the harsh wastelands of the Changeling Empire.
“Begone!” the Royal Guard shouted, as he held his spear firmly in one hand, “And take your perverted notions with you. Such sullied ideas aren’t welcome in Equestria.”
The two changelings marched silently until they disappeared off into the distance.
The taller changeling was a male named Shawta. He had wavy green hair and a small soul patch. He was shirtless and loved flaunting his muscular chest. His orange cargo shorts stood out in bright contrast to the bleak wastelands of the changeling empire.
Beside Shawta was his fellow spy and lover, Lawlee. She had large, seductive eyes and long, purple hair. Her stunning red dress hugged every contour of her hourglass figure.
They were both former operatives of the Changeling Intelligence Agency. They had managed to infiltrate Equestia and act as spies for Queen and Colony. After spending time amongst the Equestrians, though, Lawlee and Shawta grew to love Equestrian culture.
When going out on reconnaissance missions, they would often disguise themselves as children, for they knew that no one would suspect a child of committing espionage.
This also played into their mutual fetish, since Lawlee and Shawta preferred conjugal relations while in the guise of children. It was this very practice which blew their cover and resulted in their banishment from Equestria.
“I told you changing into kids during a quickie was a bad idea,” Shawta said, “They all think we’re a couple of pedophiles.”
“Hmm,” Lawlee sneered, “Bunch of hypocrites. We’ve spied on those two-faced buffoons for years now. We’ve seen the sordid games they play when they think no one’s watching. Why should their sick fantasies be protected while ours force us into exile?”
“Maybe because Equestrians are extra cautious about protecting children?” Shawta said.
“As am I,” Lawlee said, “But there’s no one to protect. Show me a child who is affected by our roleplay. You can’t, can you?”
“That’s not really the point though,” Shawta said, “It’s all about perception.”
“When the facts are open to interpretation, only chaos remains,” Lawlee said, “Those stupid guards caught us before we finished. What do you say we do some child roleplay right now?”
Shawta looked around.
“You mean have sex?” he said, “Here? In the open?”
“I thought you liked a little exhibitionism,” Lawlee said, “You get turned on by the prospect of getting caught.”
“Yeah,” Shawta said, miserably, “But it was that kind of risk-taking that got us exiled from Equestria.”
"Oh, don't be such a baby," Lawlee said, "I'm not in the mood for a baby. Something a little older. Say, 9 or 10-years-old."
“I can’t,” Shawta said.
“What are you worried about?” Lawlee said, “There’s no one around for miles. We’ll have a quickie behind that boulder and then get back on the road.”
“No,” Shawta said, with a note of panic in his voice, “I mean I physically can’t.”
“What?” Lawlee said, concerned.
“I can’t transform!” Shawta said, panicking, “I keep trying to force a change, but nothing happens.”
Lawlee tried to calm Shawta down and help him to focus.
“Remember those hick farmers we saw?” Lawlee said, “Try changing into the big brother.”
Shawta closed his eyes and in a flash of green flame, he transformed into a perfect copy of Big Macintosh.
“Well, at least it’s a relief to know you can still transform,” Lawlee said, “Now try turning into the sister.”
In another flash of green flame, Shawta changed again. Applejack stood where once had been Big Mac.
“Now change into the their little sister,” Lawlee said.
Shawta, while in the guise of Applejack, closed his eyes and strained, but he was unable to take on the form of Apple Bloom.
Lawlee grew concerned and tried to change into a child herself, but nothing happened.
“What’s going on?” Shawta said, “Why can’t we turn into children now?”
“There’s some kind of oppressive magic to this,” Lawlee said, “It’s as though a spell has been cast over the whole world which prevents anyone who looks young and childlike from being placed in sexually explicit situations.”
“You mean, we’ve lost the ability to transform into children?” Shawta said, horrified.
“There’s only one way to test for sure,” Lawlee said, “You need to clear your mind and not think of sex.”
There was a burst of green flame, then Scootaloo stood where Shawta had been. Lawlee leaned close to give Scootaloo a kiss, but when she drew near, Shawta immediately shed the disguise and turned back into himself.
"It's no good," Shawta said, "The moment anything sexy happens, we can't retain the form of a child. What are we going to do?”
“Maybe we should find another world.” Lawlee said, “One with blackjack and hookers. A world where we could be free to live out our fantasies without fear of reprisal.”
“Another world?” Shawta said in disbelief. Lawlee shot him an irritated look.
“Were you paying attention at all during the intelligence briefings?” Lawlee said annoyed, “You didn’t really think we were alone in the universe, did you?”
Shawta looked up into the sky; lost in thought. Lawlee gave an exasperated sigh.
“There are other universes out there,” Lawlee said, “Similar to ours in many respects, but with small changes.”
"What do you mean?" Shawta said.
“For example, have you ever wondered why we have animalistic faces, yet humanoid bodies?” Lawlee asked.
“Not really,” Shawta said, "That's just the way things are. I've never had any basis for comparison."
“Our universe is comprised of beings which are neither fully-animal, nor fully-human,” Lawlee said, “We’re somewhere in the middle.”
"What do you mean human?" Shawta asked, "What's that?"
Lawlee transformed herself into a Canterlot Guard.
"Follow me," Lawlee said, "And I'll show you."
After sneaking back into Equestria, Lawlee and Shawta used their masterful disguises to infiltrate Canterlot Castle. Shawta followed Lawlee into a storage room for magical artifacts. Lawlee theatrically removed the dust cover from a large mirror.
"That's it?" Shawta said, "A mirror?"
"Not just any mirror," Lawlee said, excitedly, "This mirror is a bridge between worlds. A portal to another dimension."
Shawta stared in awe at the mirror.
"Come on," Lawlee said as her hand disappeared inside the rippling mirror, "Let's blow this popsicle stand."
Shawta followed close behind and soon the two anthro changelings felt their default forms augment themselves to adapt to their new world.
In a brief moment, Lawlee and Shawta found themselves on the ground in front of a statue. They examined their hands and feet to make sure they had survived the trip to another dimension with all their fingers and toes intact.
Lawlee and Shawta looked at each other and gasped.
"Shawta," Lawlee said, "Your face is different."
"Yours, too," Shawta said.
The two changelings took a moment to feel their own faces. Their changeling snouts had disappeared and had been replaced with a tiny nose and mouth. Their ears were tiny and stuck out of the sides of their head. The horn they each had in the middle of their foreheads was no longer there.
"Lawlee," Shawta said, "Are we human?"
"I think so," Lawlee said, before a sudden noise made her turn.
A loud, ringing bell signaled the end of class. Students began to pour out of the front doors of Canterlot High. The two humanized adult changelings got to their feet.
"Quick!" Lawlee said, "We'd better hide before they see us!"
The two changelings ran behind some nearby bushes and observed the schoolkids.
"We're going to have to blend in," Lawlee said, "Unless you have a good excuse as to why two adults would be spying on children from the bushes."
"I've got nothing," Shawta said, "Alright. Here goes."
After spying two likely candidates, Lawlee and Shawta transformed into two teenagers.
"Okay," Shawta said, beneath his disguise, "Let's get out there and blend in." He was about to jump out from behind the bushes, when Lawlee grabbed his arm.
"Wait," Lawlee said, "As long as we're here, let's see if this world is any different. Make love to me."
"You're crazy," Shawta said, "You want to have sex when were surrounded by people? Someone's going to catch us!"
"I've got to know if this world is any different than the world we came from," Lawlee said.
Shawta leaned in for a kiss and was immediately forced to shed his disguise.
"Dammit," Lawlee said, "It’s like there’s some sort of magical forcefield here which protects youthful humanized physiology from being sexually exploited. Well, let's go back through the portal."
"What?" Shawta said, "But we just got here!"
"I know," Lawlee said, "But if I can't enact my fetish here, I don't want to stay. Besides, these human faces are much uglier than I imagined. Let's go home."
Once the crowd of highschool students had dispersed, Lawlee and Shawta jumped inside the base of the statue and disappeared through the portal.
"Well, it was worth a shot," Shawta said, "It'll be nice to return to our home dimension again."
Lawlee and Shawta landed on the cold ground of Canterlot Castle with a thud. After taking a moment to catch their breath, Lawlee and Shawta noticed that something was missing.
"Where are our hands and fingers?!" Lawlee shouted.
"Where are our clothes?!" Shawta said.
"We must've taken a wrong turn from that humanized world," Lawlee said, "It looks like we've entered a world where everyone is an animal. In this world, changelings appear to be some sort of bug and horse hybrid."
"I don't like it," Shawta said, "How am I supposed to pick things up without fingers? Let's just go."
"Wait!" Lawlee said, "I want to explore this new world."
After emerging from Canterlot Castle, while disguised as Royal Guards, Lawlee and Shawta walked up to a young colt selling newspapers.
"Extra! Extra! Read all about it!" the newsie said, "The serial foal rapist and murderer, the Canterlot Killer, is still at large!"
"Amazing," Lawlee said, "We must be in an alternate universe of the pony version of Equestria."
“Wait a minute!” Shawta said, “Are you telling me that every different dimension has multiple alternate universes?”
“Yes,” Lawlee said, “Do try to keep up. From what our Intelligence Agency has been able to gather, the pony version of Equestria is typically a peaceful place, but it has dozens of alternate universes; some of which allow disturbing and sexually violent acts to happen to anyone, including children.”
“Well?” Shawta said, “Are the perpetrators brought to justice?”
“Sometime yes. Sometimes no,” Lawlee said, “That’s not the point, though. The important takeaway is that they are allowed to happen.”
“You mean?” Shawta said, hopefully.
“That’s right,” Lawlee said, “We found a world without bizarre censorship magic. A world where we can be truly free.”
Lawlee and Shawta ran far from Canterlot and disappeared into the Everfree Forest. They both took on the form of children and made love to one another. And since they were little ponies, there was nothing anyone could do to stop them.
And they lived uncensored ever after. The End.
Well, not really.
Several months later...
Shawta held a stick in his mouth and was absent-mindedly doodling sketches of hands in the sand. Lawlee returned to the little shelter they had built in the woods with a basket full of freshly-picked mushrooms for their stew.
"You're not still bemoaning the loss of your hands, are you?" Lawlee said, "Can't you see we're much better off here? We don't have to worry about oppression or censorship as long as we're in this pony universe."
"But at what cost?" Shawta said, "Walking on all fours? No hands or fingers? These bodies aren't exactly conducive to pleasuring your partner."
"Agreed," Lawlee said, "But what choice do we have? In an anthro or human world, we aren't allowed to put our children disguises into sexually explicit scenarios. We'd have to abandon that particular fetish. In contrast, we can do whatever we want here."
"Except for snapping your fingers," Shawta said, "Or tenderly caressing your lover. Or holding hands."
Lawlee could see that her partner was miserable in this new world.
"Alright," Lawlee said, with a sigh, "We can go back."
After sneaking into Canterlot Castle, Lawlee and Shawta disappeared through the mirror. When they emerged on the other side, they had regained their anthro changeling bodies.
"Ooh!" Shawta said happily as he wiggled his fingers, "It's good to be home!"
Lawlee was sitting with her arms wrapped around her legs and her head resting on her knees.
"Why does it have to be like this?" Lawlee said, "Why couldn't things have remained the way they were? We weren't hurting anyone. Does the universe hate us?"
Shawta knelt down beside Lawlee and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"I love you," he said, "Besides, while we may not be able to transform into children, we can still roleplay."
Lawlee smiled.
"I have been a naughty little girl," Lawlee said, "You should punish me."
"That's the spirit," Shawta said, "Besides, nonchangelings have been enjoying sexual roleplaying without transformations for thousands of years. We'll just have to use our imaginations."

Lawlee looked at the front page of the paper. It showed an anthro pony with a frightening-looking scowl. Below his mugshot were pictures of his victims. The were all pony children.
"We landed in a world where the adults are anthro and the children are ponies," Shawta said, "What does it mean?"
"It means we're home," Lawlee said with a smile.

As for Lawlee and Shawta, maybe I'll revisit them and their bizarre universe of adult anthro characters and pony children. I may even try to bring back the Lawlee and Shawta fanclub as a place for people to write stories about anthro adults and pony children.

The actual season 6 is still slated to air in 2016.

I never liked anthro to begin with, but to have such stupid rules about is dumb. This reminds me of the time when Scott Kurtz (author of the online PVP webcomics.) changed rules on his message bored which had close to 12,000 users. A few of them stuck around after all these weird rules were put into place, the other 10k+ created their own new site where there were NO stupid rules.
Fiction is fiction, no matter what universe it is in. It's NOT real, so people should not be freaking out about it.

Did you not read the post? It's not so much about feral or anthro, as the fact that the site is actively censoring certain types of material. And yes, it is censorship we're talking here. Yes, I know it ultimately comes from a higher power than the mods, but it's still a problem when any kind of, well, government, steps in and starts telling people what they can and can't enjoy, based on their own hangups.

I get it if they prefer not to make a big public thing about it, but it would be good to at least address it in one of the larger groups dedicated to underage romances and sex. Reddit just removed its loli-related subreddits, but r/sexwithdogs and r/sexwithhorses are apparently perfectly fine, with experts at hand to tell you how to hold your dog down while you fuck it, or prepare yourself for horse anal. Because raping dogs doesn't have politically problematic implications to the administrators and their extremely narrow social group.
Legal issues are one aspect of the situation, sure, but a single clique of tech workers from a weird city with fringe political views is making the rules on a large part of the net.
The solution to modern censorship is the same as ever: build resilient communities that can avoid the attention of the powerful, and resist political entryism from... well, disturbed creatures like your mate "Gabriel".
Reddit and Fimfiction did neither. Paheal, Hentai Foundry, and Comiket failed the first part. Tumblr and Twitter failed the second. Sites like Exhentai, Pixiv, and Derpibooru managed both. All we can do is join and support successful communities while studying how they were able to succeed.
A great founder seems to be the most important part of creating any successful institution--whether a company, community, or depraved porn-creation group. Guys like Tenboro, Takahiro Kamitani, and the Derpi Trio managed to create popular, functional sites that have lasted years without any creeping restrictions on content. Rather than bitching about censorship, we should probably be asking ourselves how we can be more like them.
