I'm back after so long of not doing anything. I'm not going to make any excuses, I've been procrastinating on my stories here big time. I am going to attempt to fix that, and get back on track, but I'm going to put all of my stories on hiatus anyway. Generations is going well, I'm loving it so far, and I hope you will too.
To make up for my hiatus, I'm going to put a small tidbit of Chapter One after the break. This is only a rough draft, so I would love any feedback you have on it! Please please please don't be too mad at me...
Her heart pounded in her ears. Her pupils shrank to pinpricks, and her ears folded back onto her skull. Flaring her wings, she took off into the blood sky. Others were swarming for the waterfall, disappearing one by one. She yearned to join them, but a scream far below caused her to stop in her mad dash to safety. As she raced towards the cry, adrenaline pulsed through her veins, driving her faster, faster than she'd ever flown before. out of the corner of her eye, she saw a gargantuan shape plow through the dark clouds...
"THIIIISTLLE!"
