Music Promo Post #2: Cuushe! · 3:49am Jul 4th, 2015
Okay. I kinda slacked off on these posts, but whatever. In honor of the 4th of July, which is tomorrow (YAY BEST COUNTRY) here is a post about a Japanese musician.
I only recently became aware of Japanese dreampop performer Cuushe. Someone had posted a link on Facebook to a recording of a guest DJ spot she did on a Seattle radio show (which you can find below the link). I listened to the show, liked her stuff, and liked the rest of what I heard. It was good enough reason to check out more. so, after some Youtubing, I quickly came across a piece that was really good;
This is cool. It's chill, electronic, spacey, dreamy, ambient, and all around great. If you like stuff along the lines of Beach House then this will probably appeal to you. More below the break.
This video is pretty damned good. The song is great, the animation is cool.
Daze is a decent song. Another good piece of relaxing mood music.
I Love You features a nice, silly, weird video that seems right out of mid 90's late night MTV.
