Okay, Now for My Actual Thoughts on The Ruling · 6:32pm Jun 26th, 2015

http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/26/politics/supreme-court-same-sex-marriage-reaction/index.html

Unsurprisingly I seem to be the only one vocally against this. No one is speaking up. I would suppose you're all afraid of the backlash? Or perhaps you haven't had time to collect your thoughts? Or maybe you don't know about it at all. Well, the Supreme Court has just legalised gay marriage in all of America.

The idiots.

A decision concerning marriage, a religious act, should not be made by the government, of all people--especially when the government is completely divided on the issue. It was a 5--4 ruling, too, which makes it even worse, because it became the decision of one person to decide what all Americans, no matter their position, have to follow. So I'm not calling them idiots because of their stance, but because they even allowed it to become an issue.

Now, it seems that my stance is actually pretty ambiguous. So in case you thought that I was going to leave it unsaid, I won't. Not by a long shot. I'm wholly against the legalising of gay marriage, because I solidly believe that marriage should be between only a man and a woman. I believe that true love comes only by the ministrations of the God of the Bible, and He would never condone love between two people of the same gender.

In short, they're well and truly deceived.

This is the part where you say "They were born with it!" and then the part where I say "Hahaha! No." The only records we have of the whole testosterone/estrogen thing are from after someone comes out as gay. There is not one single record of someone having such an imbalance before they had any thoughts of being anything other than straight. Rather, I believe that the Devil found his way into their minds while they had no inhibitions and deceived them into those thoughts.

But it's what I believe. Humbug! It is all deceit. I don't believe in "soul mates" of the same gender--look at the name! But to be certain, I don't hate LGBT. I just hate the sin--I hate how they're deceived.

I will not respond to any comments that could start a flame war. With any luck I won't get a single comment. But perhaps some of you against gay marriage will see this and feel compelled to speak out as well. Or maybe you won't.

Now, at this point, you might say "You're a hypocrite! You read the Austraeoh Saga!" And to that I say "So?" I read things for the story. Quality literature with an objectionable moral tone is quality literature all the same. But there's a reason I don't like inter-Mane Six shipping; there's a reason that when you come up to me asking if I like this or that F/F or M/M ship, I say I don't like it: Because I don't.
