You know what I noticed in most Human-In-Equestria stories? · 11:06pm Jun 25th, 2015
The human always seems to be:
A very edgy person where the tiniest thing will set him off.
The human always acts like they can do whatever they want without any consequences.
The human sounds like a rebellious teenage trying to fit into high school freshman.
He loves to use vulgar language to make him sound cool.
He is always being given the "VIP" treatment from the Princess.
And people wonder why I don't read them.

Dang, and I was going to add my twist to the genre.
Not only that, there was always something traumatic like abuse or bullying in the person life.
3181950
I know, why always that? Why not something happy for once?
3181944 If you can make it interesting... I'll read it. I only have two or so stories I've gotten more than a couple of paragraphs into... they are SO... Immature.
3181958 Dunno mate.
Guess that most people don't realize that a story doesn't have to be dark or traumatic to be brilliant. That's why I really don't like writing dark stories.

I guess some people find humor/comedy to be very poisonous.
3181973 Maybe.
Depends on the type of HiE, there are a few subsets

There are lot of good Human-in-Equestria fanfics out there. I'm just talking about the recent ones whether it be a Human/Soldier in Equestria.
I seen a few where the human the acts almost exactly like Fluttershy.

Awesome! Nice to see some people taking a different approach on the typical Human in Equestria.
Congratulations. You've reached enlightenment. Now you can understand why your average HiE is dowvoted to hell on sight.

Was that an insult?
3182395 No, it took me a bit to figure it out as well. Point is, the average HiE is wish-fullfilment garbage. I think that makes us appreciate the good HiEs even more.

You said it, dude! Now I want my own Human-In-Equestria story that will stand out from the rest.
