Party Pooped, extended synopsis:

It's up to Pinkie Pie's party to save the day when an important friendship summit with some visiting yaks turns into an utter disaster, but it takes an epic voyage of discovery across Equestria to reignite her party inspiration.

First of all, I'm just excited to see yaks. I didn't really need anything MORE than the yaks. The very idea of Equestrian Yaks makes me happy. And I knew they were coming.

Season 5 Promo:

and so is CHERRY JUBILEE! YAY! It's about time!

Then there was this UK trailer:

So Pinkie Pie has a quest to throw a party for some yaks. But here is the kicker:

Cheese Sandwich. Yakyakistan. Is Cheese Sandwich involved? Is this going to confirm or sink my OTP? More importantly, is it going to be awesome? or EPIC????

In all honesty, if Cheese were going to make any kind of extended appearance, I can't believe that they would be able to keep it a secret, especially with Weird Al. But there might be a brief, unvoiced cameo, and whatever happens, there will be Pinkie Pie and YAKS.

On the one hand, I find it kind of funny that you're excited about the yaks. I personally have the reaction of "m'kay" when it comes to those, but hey, worldbuilding's nice.

On the other hand... if Cheese Sandwich appears (even for a small cameo), we're both going to be over the moon!

I'd take anything on tvTropes with a grain of salt (maybe even several) due to it's user editable nature. I've not found anything sourced that mentions Weird Al coming back, and given how much they advertised him last time, I'd err on the side of him not being in this week's episode.

3175855 I was thinking that. It seemed to me that a Weird Al return would create a LOT of buzz, and that keeping that a secret would be nearly impossible, assuming they wanted to. Cheese Sandwich fans went berserk with the tiny glimpse in last season's finale, though. We're pretty easy to please.

I don't think they'll give us Cheese any time soon. As great as it'd be, the Coco Pommel fans would create an uprising. Plus it might just make us want even more, and I'm pretty sure they won't make Weird Al a series regular just so Cheese Pie can be canon.

Also yaks would be great! I might just go into cardi-yak arrest
