DUDE CALM THE HELL DOWN!!!!

Send me info on what your OC is like so that I can help you. Don't go ranting on about how unfair and cruel Fimfiction is.

If you don't want my help then find someone else to help you out

PM me if you take the offer

I too would like to help you out if you want me to.

But first, I think we should calmly lay out a few things about Mary Sues in general and your situation.

1.: What is a Mary Sue?
Well, essentially a Mary Sue is a perfect character with no flaws or problems whatsoever. They are liked by their surroundings, regardless or their behavior, everything they strive for they will achive sooner rather than later and are generally perceived as perfect or nearly perfect in almost every imaginable way. In short: everything goes their way, always.
These sort of character often have a tragic backstory to force the reader to emphasize with them. Dead parents are an all time favorite for tragic backstories, as well as abuse, slavery and many more.
Widely and recently known examples for Mary Sues, or Gary Stues in their case, are Kritio (from the anime Sword Art Online) and Superman. I could state many many more, but those characters will mroe often than not end up being not to well known outside a certain fandom, so, we scratch that.
By the way, the term Gary Stue simply refers to a male Mary Sue.

2.: Why is your character perceived as a Mary Sue?
Well, essentially the reason is that your OC is not really that much flashed out at this point and that you didn't directly point out any flaws of her. The tragic backstory, she had abbusive parents which died later one if i recall it right, further strengtens those perceptions. Now add the fact that her life seems to go rather perfect for her and I have to admit, I can see why people assume her to be a Mary Sue.

3.: So? Is she a Mary Sue?
Even though many people might disagree with me I say no, your OC Cinna Sprinkle is no Mary Sue.

4.: Why?
If I look at the character sheet you blog'd yesterday it's rather obvious that she is a rather early state. All points are short sentences, often only two to three words that are simply mentioning facts about her. This is a clear sign that you don't have her as your OC for a very long time, therefore it's only natural that she isn't as developed as an OC with many months or even years of developement under his belt.

5.: What now?
Well, it's rather easy, talk to people about their OCs. Like this you might pick up a few things that make an OC good and likeable. Additionally, you can try to find somebody who helps you to work out the details of Cinna and make her an OC you can relate and like a lot.

Ok, this should be enough for now, I hope I could help you with this little text. If you like I would also like to help you to work on Cinna, everybody deserves to be happy with their OC and I really hope I can help you with exactly that.
Furthermore, one word of advice: Don't take verything said on the internet too much to heart. People on the internet tend to be more cruel and direct than in a face to face talk. A few might do it on purpose, but most people don't, it's just a littel difficutl to really emphasize with somebody you don't see or hear. We aren't all bad, ou might need to search for them, but there are many very nice people around here.

Calm down.
How many of actually insulted you?
