Thoughts on Star Wars Rebels season two premiere (spoilers) · 2:10am Jun 21st, 2015

What can I say? With Vader on the scene, shit got real. We saw Vader do some cold-blooded stuff in this one, we saw the Rebels massively take one up the ass, and now we know that Ahsoka did NOT know what became of her master until now.

It was awesome to hear James Earl Jones as Vader again.

The actor playing Palpatine did an AMAZING job on the voice. I could've sworn it was Ian McDiarmid at first, but it wasn't...

So the action has moved off of Lothal, and Vader's taking a back seat for a while as a new Inquisitor hunts down Spectre Cell.

And Ahsoka has joined the party...

Sign me up for the rebellion for another season!

I really don't understand the issue people has with the new movie ignoring the extended universe, specially this branch of the Universe.

I mean, "Clone Wars" ignored the main movies first by introducing Ashoka in the first place! In Episode III, it was a plot point that Anakin wasn't honored with the title of Master after he was allowed to join the council, yet in Clone Wars he got Ashoka as a Padawan.

In my opinion, I'm glad that Abrahams is ignoring these cartoons.

is there a youtube link for the episode yet

3167064 ...You either misheard or misunderstood, because that's not what's happening at all. Shortly after buying Star Wars, Disney announced that they were scrapping the canon tier system, and have all Star Wars media be of the same standing.

Then, some time later, came the "Great Canon Purge", as it's often called, in which Disney and the Lucasfilm Story Team decanonized and placed in the "Legends" AU-verse everything except the six movies and their novelizations (where said novelizations don't conflict with the movies), plus the 3D Clone Wars series (which was kept partially due to George Lucas being one of the executive producers of the show).

All Star Wars media released afterward is part of the new canon. (With the exception of new content for The Old Republic MMO.)

In short, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels are 100% canon, according to Disney and the Lucasfilm Story Group. I don't how you came to think otherwise.

Oh I did not know season 2 started. Damn I missed it, prob watch it tommrow if I can find it.
