Progress is a Fickle Thing · 11:50pm Jun 19th, 2015
It's been enough time, I imagine, since the last blog I posted about how the chapter was coming along. Since then, I've made a tremendous amount of progress. This is good news, of course. Though due to some unexpected visitations by relatives -- sadly I, and my brothers, were whisked away to indulge in something commonly referred to as: socializing.
What happened really isn't important, but it did keep me from writing for two whole days. Two whole days I could have spent adding four scenes to the chapter. Unfortunately I didn't get those scenes written out, and so I'm left to compensate doing them today. Luckily for me they're very short scenes. Taking a grand total of three, or so, hours to do.
Once they're completed, I should be roughly 85% done with the chapter. And depending on the number of scenes I do in the following week per day will ultimately decide how fast I finish it.
Another smidgen of good news is that the word-count is at a very nice level. Sitting just where it needs to be. Ah, how well thought-out plans come together.
I'll let you in on some more information once I get farther in completing the chapter.
