General thoughts:
Obligatory: HOH MAH GAWD IT GOT FEATURED!!1!11!one!!1!! I was freaking out for the better part of yesterday (the ploungers know this through experience)
After lots of pondering, I've come to the conclusion that I definitely got lucky with this story. I wrote the right thing at the right time and it got featured. Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed that I didn't put more effort into it than I did. It was simply a reddit prompt, but I guess it blossomed into something more.
That being said, I did heavily alude to a situation in a snow pass where cranky and the changeling met. I said if this story did well I would pen that story. Well, it did well so I will soon start working on their initial encounter. Since so many of you seemed to like For Cranky, I plan to put a lot more work into this next story.
For those who were wondering, I chose not to name the changeling because I figured the community would create a name for him soon enough. (sorry if that threw anyone off)
Oh, and I want to thank everyone for this. My birthday was this weekend and this is something I've dreamed of for several years now. 
To the guys that are just finding me, I really hope you stay and I'm really glad you're here.
