AFDP: Clearly, I Saw The Future · 2:40am Jun 15th, 2015
So this was written up and submitted, completely unedited, as a response to some released info about EQG3, and particularly the new characters that will be in it.
However, as we still know very little (read: nothing) about the new characters beyond their names, appearances, and preferred sports, I basically pulled a bunch of guesses out of my rear end. I do not expect any of this to be accurate to the final product,* nor should you - but I hope you enjoy it regardless, and it will be interesting to see if any of my guesses have at least some degree of accuracy.
The section with Applejack admittedly was added to solidify the connections to canon (see my previous blog post) but I decided to use that to further establish my vision of how the Games work and of the Shadowbolts. Now I feel the story really couldn't function without it.
Anyway, I'm just looking forward to seeing EQG3 - I'm one of those people who (aside from specific cases) really doesn't mind seeing their headcanons be jossed, and I know these will.

*Especially my concept of Sugarcoat as Machiavellian-but-nicer-than-she-gives-herself-credit-for, based solely on the name. Somehow I don't think that particular concept would be seen in canon.
