The doctor, or Doc Turner, since Derpy called him Doc, is a doctor of science, and probably time. :)
Derpy is a sweet bubbly Pegasus with a good attention span and sometimes forgetful. She also is very creative in her use of fireworks.
All those other ponies are cool too.
All in all, I love this bloody episode so fucking much.
I love that, when Derpy brought it up, he immediately dissed it as old thinking.

They did the best they could to reference the doctor without getting a copy write claim, so I am happy enough, considering it gives me a way to use him as just a pony if need be and not a time lord. A pony with an unusual Technological Advancement and Research Dedicated to Investigating Science, (TARDIS) house and long ass scarf.

They probably didn't have the time to make his color correctly while still doing the awesome music scene.
Also, Doc Turner said that name directly in the show, I didn't make it up, not smart enough to even be able to in the first place. So he has his TARDIS, his name, and his scarf, but only in references. He's like, the only one they had to be careful with.
