Mini-Update: So Ready to Be Back · 1:39am Jul 23rd, 2012
Hullo, friends! Your ol' buddy PC here, still in Florida--which was not part of the plan. I should be about 1.5 hours back home. But mistakes occurred, papers were misread and I'm stuck here for another day. *sighs* Bloody tired of fucking vacation I am.
Which just means I should be all the more active and involved around here when I AM back. So that's good.
My first plan is to properly introduce myself in DreamWings' new Poetry group, where I have been entrusted as a contributer/recruiter. It's still small and may be too specialized to grow too large, but damn it, we're gonna try!
Next on the list is to finish the Star Swirl story. I'm excited to have an actual complete tale under my belt. That alone will be awesome. I hope you guys enjoy it. And man I'd like some more views. *frowns* I really think I have enough talent to garner some sort of recognition...but let's not put the cart before the horse, I guess.
Then I'm going to add up a new schedule section on my page: this will be for my editing and pre-reading requests. In time, I believe (if I keep getting requests a least) I shall dedicate certain days to this, and other days to writing. Time will tell, I suppose!
And that's all for me at the moment. Can't wait to get home and start working again. To those of you reading, you're great people and I'll catch you later. Take it easy all, 'til the next!
Did you enjoy your vacation PC? Hope you did!

I did, heh, thank you. I'm sure I'll ramble details in a full post when I return, but for now I'll simply say it was super fun but completely exhausting. I'm just ready to get back and get more involved around here. Still though, I believe I've got some good inspiration that will allow me to write even more, so for that alone I'm glad I came. Just wish it had been timed a bit better, heh. Hrm, *frowns* and that we had gone to a place with fewer couples walking around. *sighs*
But yeah, expect more from me tomorrow or Tuesday. Have a good one, mate.

Ahhhhh. There there. Fish in the sea and all that. Take care yourself Cagy!
The bad thing about traveling vacations: After you take them, you need a vacation at home to recover.
Glad you had fun, though.

Hahaha, I've heard that so many times these past few days.

That joke is part of my new comedy routine. My other one is, "I flew here from Reno tonight! What's the deal with Airline food!? Boy are my arms tired!"
it's a bit rough around the edges, but after I work with it a bit, I'll have some comedic gold.

Well, if the Internet has taught us anything, it's that you only have to
steal recycle whore outdevelop one good joke and you're set for life!244883
I'll admit, I chuckled pretty good at that.

I have no idea why you would, but always glad to share a laugh.
We'll be expecting you Mr Caged (that would have been better if you could have heard the accent or seen the cat I was stroking )

*bursts out laughing, gets weird looks at airport*
Hah! The mention alone was enough. Too good, too good.
Also, you were probably already told but I'll be joining you on the review team, heh.
245775 No I was not told this. Yay, I'll have someone else reviewing.
245778
Well I was told at about 2 in the morning (some odd 13 hours ago). It may be us and Sorren, or he may grab another pair. Should be interesting. I don't doubt my skill, merely my conscience and overly nice guy nature, heh. That'll be one of the first things I'll do when I get back, actually.
245795 Yeah, I'm nice to people as well. I specialise in the way things are worded and incorrect tenses. They're my pet peeves...Though I do check grammar as well

I was just about to comment hours ago when I was distracted and my iPod died. Sheesh. Now...what was I going to say...uh...*ponders*
*nods* That's cool, and a nifty specialty to have. Myself, way back in the day when I was about 16 or so and had just gotten online, I was part of an RP group that took its quality seriously--had to prove you knew what you were doing writing wise and everything. There was a lass whom would become a very special soul to me over the next few years who was especially hard on all of us participants. With her guidance, I just started paying attention to what I was doing, making sure I was doing it correctly, and I've kept it up ever since. Combined with my lack of self confidence and paranoia, I edit myself like crazy as I go along--which is why it takes me forever to write anything, heh. I'm good with flow and word choice as well simply as a result of the ridiculous amount of reading I've done over the years.
