I have been putting ideas into my book and this one has to come out.

Think of a rock that has undeniable power and only a few could work it or use it properly.

like the elements of harmony. Now in my theory is that this element made the elements of harmony and as a back product the alicorn amulet.

Now thinking on my level. What if the elements of harmony are combine attributes. And if that was the case. there could be endless elements!

Now you think i left out the mane 6?! Nope they ARE worthy but not enough for true power, simple as that. They have enough to be able to use their respective elements!

Now put crimson with true magic......True magic is not held in with spells.
