A Brief Introduction · 12:37pm Jun 12th, 2015

Hello everyone out there! I thought since I have published my first story, I might write a little bit about who I am and what I like to write. In the real world, I am a master's student in a terminal master's program, which I am very excited about. I hope to be finished by December of next year, but it all depends on my classes, my work outside of classes, and a number of other factors. My alias is an Icelandic word meaning "Raven." Corvidae are fascinating to me, and I am a fan of imagery involving rooks, crows, magpies, and of course, ravens. Beyond writing I enjoy horror films, hiking, coffee, studying the martial arts, and occasionally getting lost.

As for my particular style of writing, I tend to write whatever feel like. I've written horror, slice of life, science fiction, and erotica. I think I have the most fun writing fantasy based stories, as the world is so broad and the only limit is your imagination. I hope one day to write urban fantasy. In terms of fandom, I have been writing pieces of fan fiction since the mid 2000s. I've moved through more than a few fandoms, and have used various aliases. I wrote my first piece for MLP (only recently published) after being first exposed to the characters through online acquaintances of mine. I've since watched most of the first three seasons, just so I can get a better grasp on the world. If I am going to be writing here, I want to write well.

I really appreciate feedback on my stories, more than like or dislikes. If you can tell me WHAT worked or did not work for you in a story, that is where I feel I grow as an author the most. I welcome constructive criticism, and flames will be used to heat my indoor sauna.

As for what I might write next...I think I will stick with one shot stories for now. I don't think I know the world or it's characters well enough yet to do a detailed piece. I also have other projects I am working on elsewhere. If you want to see what else I write, please give me a line and I will send you to where else I have written.

Until later!
