Apple Bloom and Goten are proud parents of their two year old son, Carrot Apple; named after his grandfather, Goku. Three years after Sapphic's defeat and one year after the Dragon Balls were destroyed, the Apple family looks to a brighter future than the recent past has been.
However, as with all forms of government, threats such as the saiyans cannot go unchecked for long; out of fear for destruction or political position in power, a summit of the world's super powers has been called to try and find a way to ease tensions between the countries.
With the Apple family at the epicenter of this debate, what will become of the family that has tried so hard to live a life of normalcy?

am i the only one who was unhappy with how that last side-story went? the whole thing felt forced to me. and very one-sided. I mean, Piccolo destroyed the DB's just because he sees AB fighting off these other ponies who are trying to steal the wish from her. the wish that was promised to her!
he starts talking about how she could have killed one of them, but we all know that if she had wanted to kill anyone, she would have. instead, she tossed them away, and kept on trying to get the DB's back. the only fault i can find is when she lost her temper, and wound up hitting Goten by mistake.
he then says that she's twisting his words to suit her, but we also know this to not be true. he straight up said that the next wish was hers if she got the DB's, which she did. actually, he freaking did it for her! which means he literally did give the wish to her.
and then, to top it all off; he destroys them. the things they worked so hard to create, in order to help equestria when it needed that kind of power, and he fucking destroys them. and for what? because some ponies are arguing over who get's to steal AB's wish? that's bullshit.
he says that she wasn't willing to compromise, but there was no compromise in that situation! it was either someone get's their wish granted, or they don't. there wishes were so different that there was no way to word it without being so vague that it had far to much potential to go wrong.
personally, i don't even think he had a right to take them away or destroy them. he made them, yes. but that other lady made the original dragon balls, and she's seen those ones cause more conflict and strife than his! but (as far as i know), she never once thought she had a right to go out and destroy them! but not piccolo, oh no, he thinks he knows best. so instead of trying to sit down and use that 'compromise' solution he preached, he just steals them away and destroys them.
so in a summary, the whole thing didn't make sense to me, and i wish it was written differently. and considering that i never say that-ever!- , that should be a big clue as to how unhappy i am. sorry mister writer.
3137420 i understand, and to be honest that particular one was a bit rushed. I apologize. Yes, something did not make any sense, and I had planned for a much better product, but unfortunately things happen and send me off track. I understand if you do not wish to continue reading he series, but I hope you'll give me another chance to redeem myself in your eyes.
3137424 it's not like i'm not going to keep reading, i just had to get all of that out in the open. as for 'redemption', there really wouldn't be much to it. i'd say the only way to leave the side-story as is, and have the next story make any sort of sense, would be to have AB resent all the ponies and beings involved for taking away her chance to bring back her loved ones, have shining become either depressed or bitter for them same reasoning, and have piccolo constantly question whether he did the right thing. in my eyes, that would help make the story flow better. i mean, if they just 'move on' after having something that important and world changing happen, no one would believe it. it would be even more forced. i'm not going to tell you what to write, though. never done it, and i never will. i'm just throwing my ideas and opinions out there, and if you like them, then so be it.
