How to find new/unpublished stories, blogs and groups · 8:25pm Jun 6th, 2015
I've already written a blog about finding new groups.
I've upgraded the program, so that you can now find new/unpublished stories and blogs as well.
You can download the program here:
http://www.pearltrees.com/dragor/links/id10937724/item147559100
The program is very simple to use. Here's an example on how to find stories:
- 2x click on the file Starter.exe
- Close your Firefox browser (yes, you have to have Firefox to use this program)
- Write a story number in the upper left textBox
- Select the option 'Stories'
- Click on 'Open individual and accept clipboard new clipboard entry'
- Select the name of the story and press ctrl+c or close the browser if it isn't a story
The program will produce links like these:
A Start of a Nightmare
If Lost, Return to
The Amethyst Star
Elastic Heart
Twilight Becomes Obsessed with Kool-Aid
Oh, and if you want to share unpublished stories with other users, there's a group for that: Unpublished Story Hunters
Let me know in the comments if you have any questions.
5283?
3134142 What does that number mean?
Edit: Oh, my feed. Yeah, that comes from being a member of almost 1000 groups.

that's why i turn off notifications for the ultra active groups and only check up on them in the Dashboard~
3134148 I mostly just check the Dashboard also. Too bad it can only hold 30 or so threads.

yeah, that sucks...
at least have a scroll-up/scroll-down mechanic, y'know?
I built an archival tool for FIMFiction, but I lost it when I accidentally reformatted my drive without it. Saving the first 150,000 stories on FIMFiction to a MySQL DB took up about 5GB. The pictures 14GB.
3302401 That's awesome. Too bad you lost it. It sounded quite advanced. I almost lost all my programs also. I had them on two disks and both of them were corrupted by the operating system. Luckily, I managed to restore one.
