    Not quite done with writing

Now that my desire to play Fallout: New Vegas has been thoroughly satiated for the time being with the completion of my second playthrough, I suppose I actually have time to write now, though unfortunately I do still have college to worry about. With that, I have no guarantee that I'll write on a regular or even semi-regular basis. Motivation (or rather, the lack thereof) is still a big

FALLOUT 4 CONFIRMED · 5:52pm Jun 3rd, 2015

Holy hell, it's really happening. Brb, gotta go binge the final 170 or so hours I still have planned for New Vegas.

Ah, the thought of a Fallout game with the size and expansiveness and explorability of Skyrim, plus mods... Oh man, that's just... Wow. Who knows how many hundreds of hours that would take out of my life?

Still, I can't help but feel just a little skeptical of how good Fallout 4 will end up being. I mean, I will almost certainly enjoy playing it, but I'm going to be holding it to the very high standards set by my love for New Vegas, my favorite game of all time. If it falls short, then... meh, it's a shame, but oh well.

It is being developed by Bethesda, so it'll likely have a similar approach to game design as Fallout 3 and Skyrim, both of which I did enjoy quite a lot, but unfortunately both of which I feel lacked the depth and replayability that New Vegas had, in my opinion. I sincerely doubt that I will absolutely despise playing Fallout 4, however; I simply might not enjoy it as much as New Vegas. Then again, there really is no point in making comparisons and worrying about it right now.

It'll probably be a great game in its own right nonetheless.

By the way, still no new updates on writing, sorry!
