My writing will slow. · 11:24am May 21st, 2015
Yeah, I knew this was coming for a while now, just wasn't sure if it was a sure-thing or not. But now it looks like it is.
In two days, I officially start full time work. 5 days a week, about 40 hours a week or more total. I know I haven't updated much in a while, and it may get slower still. I do apologise for this, but in the end, my job and caring for my family comes first.
I will write what I can, when I can. But I make no promises for when anything will update.
I have started new chapters for Brave New World. Changelings and The Human and the Princess.
Princess is about half done, but I'm having a few issues with the direction I want to take it. Honestly, I never even expected anyone to like this blatant self-insert. It's poorly written as is just a method to de-stress myself. And yet, people do like it. So I will continue it. Truth be told, it was supposed to end with Kai going to Equestria. But, people demand and I shall deliver. The misadventures of Kai and Twi will go on.
A Brave New World - This thing. Okay, so a while back, I read A New World, A New Way. And the concept seemed interesting, and I saw a way to write a side fic that wouldn't involve itself in the main canon much, if at all. Funny how things work out huh? This fic is a monster, over 300K words and I am nowhere near done with it. I will be writing this fic for a good long while yet.
Changelings: Gotta Love 'em All - So, originally a joke made by one of my editors. TheLetterJ. When I met Cerulean Voice at a convention in Sydney, he made it quite clear he wanted it to be a thing. And well, who was I to disappoint such a great author. Only two chapters, and it has garnered more fame that A Pony out of Place. I am still floored by this. Unfortunately, I have also been utterly stumped on where I want the story to go. I will be putting more thought into it and I hope to get some inspiration soon.
The Next Flareverse Fic - This... This is what the people want, and I want to deliver, I really do. Just the other day, I came up with teh final battle for it. Some of you said I would never top the battle with Darkrai...
..Oh how wrong you are...
Regardless. I have a beginning, and an end. But no delicious filling. That, and the fact that I don't know if my current writing level can give you guys the story you deserve, the story Flare deserves. I will never forget this fic and i WILL write it. I just don't know when.
Again, my real life takes precedence, but I plan to finish all of these fics, and even some waiting in the wings. I may also offer a few fic ideas up for grabs, as I simply have too many to write by myself.
