I am alive.
It's been over a year since my last update on any stories. Well, time to fix that. After some deliberation, I'm going to go through and rewrite "An Apple A Day" completely. If possible, I'll try to keep the second-person style, but in either case, I'm going to be more accurately portraying the characters.
Now, for any of the Attack on Titan fans here, I've been fairly active on Fanfiction.net, having written a 46k+ word story. If you want to get a feel for how my writing has changed since the last chapter of AAAD, or if you just like AoT, check it out!
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to give some bad news for this post as well. By the beginning of July, I'm going to have to move out of my parents' house. The relationship we have is extremely toxic at best, and verbally and emotionally abusive at worst. It's something I've been trying to escape from since I graduated HS last year. My question for you guys is this: if I were to start posting stories and chapters on here and fanfiction more frequently, would you guys be okay with me opening a Patreon page to help earn some extra money for food and bills? I want to stress that not doing so will not hinder the flow of content, and I will not open one until after I have the first 3 chapters of AAAD rewritten and have enough positive feedback from you guys. I would also like to state that my plans to increase activity are not because I want extra money in my pocket. I've been working on "How To Be A Shifter" since August, and after making several comments about how I want to rewrite AAAD to bring it up to my new standard of writing.
I'd like to end this by saying I love you all, and I'm thankful for the support you all gave for AAAD even after I stopped updating. You all deserve the story to be told better, and I'll be damned if I don't deliver on my word to do just that.
Huh, I added that story to my read later list so long ago that I nearly forgot about it. In any case, nice to see that you are still around and are going to give another go.
3081644 It's really weird. I've had a huge influx of favorites and views the past few weeks, and I'm not sure what started it up.
Well, I might donate to a patreon. But it'd only be a bit here and there.
I dislike Patreon as a whole. But if you need a backing I don't mind donating a bit just through paypal, as a maybe-more-than-one-time thing.
Really happy to see that you're returning, though! I don't know enough about toxic situations as a whole, but I really hope you get away from there, so I wish you the very best of luck! You deserve the best, never cease to believe that :)
