After fucking around the past three hours, trying SO DAMN HARD to change the background image on my shitty laptop, and only now realizing it is four fucking AM, I give up. I really do. It is locked so damn tightly that I cannot change it, even after clicking around for hours on end... Even after breaking through everything it still won't let me edit or delete the image... WHY CAN YOU NOT CHANGE THE DAMN BACKGROUND ON YOUR OWN LAPTOP? I WILL NEVER KNOW!
I did manage to change my log in screen to SoarBurn... guess what... I cannot show any of you that, because you cannot take any FUCKING screen shots of the log in screen...

Right click image that you like on internet and click set as desktop background.

Did you restart the computer then try again? Maybe you don't have admin-level access with your account somehow
This is for Mac, right click on the background and select "Change Desktop Background" and drag the picture you want to use into a folder, then drag the folder into the list of folders that you can use for wallpapers then select it.

You know what's been making me want to flip tables? Seeing Maplestory ads EVERYWHERE! There's one right under this post on my screen! Why is this game so popular? It tries too hard to be big and fails in every regard! It thinks it can fix the problem of having most of the classes varying in power and strength by adding more characters! The new class will quickly become overshadowed by the next class within six months and you'll be ridiculed for even having it in your list of created characters! It gives the illusion that you're advancing the story when really YOU WILL NEVER KILL THE BLACK MAGE! I really wouldn't be surprised if his sprites are never even in the game's coding! And yet this game is way more popular than it should be! Where's the attention on Vindictus? Sure the classes are still unbalanced but at least they're not unbalanced to the point that a good player can't show up an Evie with a Lann! And there's an actual story! And it takes skill to play! Especially as Lann since he is super squishy and has to be in the boss's face to deal damage. You tend to die in about 2-3 good hits on bosses.
This has just about nothing to do with your post (which I'm sorry about your predicament) but I found a tangent to talk about and wrote my essay of the day. I hope your future laptop personalization endeavors go a lot smoother than this.
Windows 7 Starter Edition strikes again...
Windows 7 starter is netbook exclusively. I'm figuring this guy has xp or something old like that. I have an xp tower and it's so slow I don't even type with it. I'll start writing when I get a dell xps in a few weeks.
