Remember when I said I like to keep my stories as canon-compliant as possible? Yeah, looks like I have some major revamping to do once I find the time. So much for my whole Fanfiction Foresight schtick. 
In all honesty, though, I welcome this with open arms. Not only is it going to get me back into my pony-writing groove, but I think this'll make things much more comedic. Truth be told, I'm not sure Cheerilee's chemistry with Tailspin is all that good. Her inclusion in the story feels very, well, arbitrary. But Tree Hugger? A laid-back hippie pony who barely gets fazed by anything? She's the perfect pony to deal with a klutzy adrenaline junkie like Tailspin. As such, I'm gonna be replacing Cheerilee with Tree Hugger in the story, not just for continuity, but because it just works better.
I won't be taking down the story entirely, seeing as all I really have to do is retool some scenes and fix the dialogue. But once that's done, I think the finished product is gonna be a lot closer to what I originally envisioned.
