I know. Like, why must you torture us with great premises and no conclusion? At the very least, leave an outline for use to mull over.
One of the worst offenders is "Winter Magic Academy". Admittedly, the author was getting harassed, but then Boop! Completely removed from the site, and quit everything.

3058465 Never heard of that one sadly. From the sound of it, it could have been something amazing. Heck, at least a few stories have been picked back up, by other good authors, like the rarity future one. The "For want of a nail." shift on the rainboom author. I need to read that one again, it was very fun seeing them break equestria with apple based teleportation.

But grow, like, It takes a village, were the first two stories i picked up as interested, and they were the right time and place to get me hooked to the stories here. Good scifi is just so hard to do right. It is when you have magic about. and that just built worlds with such simply brushstrokes.
