The reasoning as to why "Losing a Lover, Gaining Another" has been placed on hiatus.

Before I say why the story's on hiatus right now, I think I should put a bit more of a back story in so it may and/or may not be easier to understand. Buck in the story is actually an Alicorn, as I've noted in chapter one, and his horn was damaged to the point of needing to be amputated. [Possible spoiler alert! It may be added to the story but I'm not sure] The pony Buck saved was Princess Luna, that's why he was so attached to her [End possible spoiler alert]. In chapter two (don't worry, it's not a spoiler), there will be a mention of an "immortal unicorn", that is entirely true because said unicorn is the child of an Alicorn that just wasn't born with wings. Sure this back story might not make much sense now, but if you remember it when the next chapter finally does come out, the story will make more sense.

Now for the reason it's on hiatus. Just a few days after I submitted chapter one, I had to go in for jaw surgery. I wasn't able to work on the story then for a couple of reasons: 1) I couldn't get any time to myself, 2) I couldn't think of what would happen next in the story, and 3) I had no feeling in the majority of my face and as such, didn't want paper near it. Now things are getting much better but I still have no feeling in my lower lip and I don't want to ruin the paper from whatever drool I can't control. I hav started the rough draft of chapter two but that's just it, it's still just the beginning of a rough draft. I don't know when I'll get back to working on my story but I'm going to try and get the next chapter on here before September. Sorry, but I still got two weeks of recovering from a broken mouth due to surgery and after that I still need to work on it, but just bear with me!
