Hello Pony People! · 2:27am May 6th, 2015
Alright, so recently I've been curious about doing Non-Linear Stories, and thankfully I've found the program I've been looking for. Fortunately I've started. UNfortunately, it's going to take a very long time for this story to be done. Let me Explain...
We start with an opening scene. You have two options, 1 or 2. I write those two options, now I need two options for each of those two options. NOW I need two options for those next four options. And after that I need two options for those eight options. Do you see why it would take forever? We're up to 15 paragraphs, and that's only for 4 linear progressions.
So yes, I will be posting when I have new options up. And I will only release the "game" when I have finished chapter 1, so you all have something to play with. Unfortunately, I don't believe FIMFiction will be able to show the file, as it is not a text file. But I will be sure to provide a link to the story on my page when I have chapter one done. Where it'll be uploaded... who knows, I'll figure that out once I'm done chapter one.
Just thought I'd give you all an update! And I'm sorry about no story updates, life's been a bit stressful lately Not that you care but... if you wanna know, I told you. :), but I hope to add some chapters to a few of my stories soon.
See ya!
This sounds a bit like a choose your own adventure type style. That type could take a while to work on, do you have examples to go by?
End of the year stuff can be stressful...I know. Also, hi.

Hoi... :) And that's exactly what it is. But the "correct" name is Non-Linear Story. And yeah, it's definitely going to take a while. By examples you mean...?

I was thinking maybe like Adventure Tine's BMO Which Way Dude or Hugurashi. Your actions decide what happens and the ending.
How have you been? Wow, we haven't spoken in...*Whistles*
