I liked this one a bunch. A interesting one-shot involving Daring Do. Neat premise and I did not expect the ending.
I also have to admit that I didn't actually get what the secret fire was until I saw the comments talking about it. Which made me feel dumb.
Sombra’s Song by No No No No No No

This reads like the introduction to a much larger story. A story I would like to read. It had interesting characters, a bit of romance, maybe a touch of foreshadowing of a betrayal (besides the Sombra one we know is at the end). Seeing Sombra go from the loyal knight possibly in love with the crystal princess to the Sombra we see in the show would make a great epic fantasy adventure story.
Sky Pirates of Equestria: Phoenix Flight by Aquaman

This was a lot of fun. The mane six as sky pirates works surprisingly well. The writing flows well and is enjoyable on it’s own merits. This story managed what Daylight Burning didn’t. The mane six seem like time has passed. They seem older without being different. Not in any major way, just that they have had experiences over time since the events of the show. There is a bit of ambiguity at the end, but I do like what seems to be the basic premise. This is another storyline I’d love to read more of.
A Clash of Lightnings by Habanc

This was fun. I really enjoyed all three alicorns in this story. Might even be my favorite version of Princess Celestia. Highly recommended if you enjoy a bit of absurdity. The us of ‘hand’ in the poem at the end was slightly annoying, but it was literally the second or third to last line, so I gave it a pass. Plus the mental picture of Princess Luna sticking out her tongue to give Princess Twilight a flippant raspberry might be the silliest and cutest thing I’ve run into all week. Additional plus, oddly enough, this had pretty good magic/battle scenes in it. Oh, and Darius the Duck, vanquisher of turtles.
Weapons Of Moth Destruction by Blueshift

Random silliness. Very fun random silliness . I enjoyed this a lot, and you probably will as well.
