So. I drew some more ponies. This is officially my first ever piece of pony fan art for another writer's fanfic. Which fanfic, you ask? Why, Bon Bon's Acceptance by PussPuss, who is an incredible artist in his own right by the way (that cover art for Bon Bon's Acceptance? Yeah, that's his own penwork).
If you haven't read it, I really do recommend it. Just a forewarning, it is a clopfic (which is why I didn't directly link it here). It is the first clopfic I have ever braved, by virtue of the fact that the clop chapters are entirely skippable without affecting the story. I have no problems with human/pony romance. I am of the view that two (or more, as in this case) sapient consenting beings can go do whatever they like together as long as it does no harm to others. I am not exactly sold on clop though, no matter how borderline 1000 Virgin Mares gets at times. But Bon Bon's Acceptance has convinced me that clopfiction is an entire genre with its own shining examples of quality storytelling that I have so far missed out on. The maturity gives these stories a realistic edge to the relationships they explore. It is something I will certainly begin delving into from now on.
Anyhow, the fact that I drew fan art for it reflects exactly how much I enjoyed the story. I'll be honest, I didn't really read its prequel, 'Lyra's Confession'. But PussPuss set the story and setting generously allowing for impatient readers like me, exploring everything ab initio. It's an adorable tale with the cutest portrayal of Bon Bon I had ever read. The romance is fraught with nuances of Equestrian culture and personal conflict that is believable without being gratuitously emo. And the writing is 100% grade A solid. And if that hasn't sold it to you yet, PussPuss has one of the best update schedules of any writer on this website. I feel I can rely on him to deliver updates, something that not many (including myself) oft inspire in their readers.
So do give it a try and be sure to give him a like and a follow if you enjoy it. The story deserves more love (pun intended. PussPuss, GET ON WITH THE ROMANCE ALREADY PLEASE).
In other news, what's going on with my writing? Well, still working on both 1000 Virgin Mares and All Butlers Are Gentlemen. Real life is being a pain. Again. But hang on tight, friends, we'll get through this dry spell.

Wait, so the clop parts are skippable?
Just saw this blog hehe. Well I'm glad I could convince you to give a clop story a try! I will say this thought. There is a lot of really bad clop out there. One of my goals when starting this project was to make something with clop in it that wasn't complete trash. So If you start reading the more adult type of stories, just keep in mind that you might be disappointed.
That said, I'm happy that you are enjoying my story even thought its not really something you normally read.

Lyra has been happily dating her human coltfriend for a little while now and wants to start a herd with him and her best friend, Bon Bon. The only problem is, Bon Bon doesn’t want to be a part of a herd with the human. The earth pony loves Lyra with all her heart, but she just can’t seem to relax and open up around the strange bipedal creature.
So it's about Lyra trying to start a family with Bon Bon and the human lol.
