Sequel? · 6:06pm Apr 30th, 2015
Okay, a lot of you have been pointing out that I haven't marked A New World as complete yet, and well... here's the thing, I was going to publish Book 2 under the same story, just... time skipped. I have... several reasons for this... but what do you guys think? Relabel some chapters and continue posting under A New World, or make a new story for Book 2?
Make a new story all together. It'll be fun. plus I am interested to see what you have in store for Book 2.
Maybe call it "A New World, A New Way 2"
If I can be sincere, I didn't feel the last chapter as a closure of anykind. I would call it the end of a part of a story, but not much of a book.
With that said, I suggest staying on the same timeline (no timeskip) but with a different label... did any of that made any sence?
Just post it under the same story, makeing a sequel means you will have to work to get all those likes again
3031101 I agree with you.
Another name could be: "Still A New World and A New Way"
if you do make a sequel why not call it A New World, Still A Ways to Go
ether one is fine with me I just want to see more of the story
3031126 3031166 A New World The Next Way?
Ether one is fine with me, I just want to see more of your work
3031189 that's good too. i named it that way because they still have a way to go before pokemon are fully accepted i their new home
I would prefer their to be no time skip if we are to continue the next arc in the story on the same story (if that makes sense)
Also a suggestion for the title: A new world, a wall in the way
I'm good with your original plan of posting the slightly time-skipped Book 2 under the same story page as Book 1. It'll make these things easier to keep track of. I mean hey, if that sort of thing is good enough for "Starlight Over Detrot," it's good enough for ANWANW.
Keep it as one story, it makes drawing the cover art easier since I just have to remake the one I already made.
(Still going to take hours though.)
Honestly Zeus, just do it with your original plan, I've been writing here long enough to know that making an actual 'sequel story' will get about half as many readers along with half as many comments to
feed off ofI mean read.It doesn't matter to me, do whichever one you want .
Keep it in the same story. A sequel would only get half as many favorites and/or thumbs up.
If you do make a sequel under a different name, at least post a chapter telling us the name or with a link.
Stay with your idea
i'd stay with your current story, but when naming the chapters, you might want to start over from chapter one with the ones after the end of 'book one'
but that's just me
Whatever you feel like doing.
New story, please
Stories with hundreds of chapters can intimidate some people and drive them away

A New World, A New Generation.
What do you want to do next?
If it's about the kids then go ahead, but I think that should be saved for the third book.
Maybe have the coming of a war?
A New Way, A New War?
either way i'm reading it
I reccomend starting a new story for the 2nd book. Sixty chapters can be pretty daunting for new readers and you don't want to intimadate them from reading the story itself.
At the same time, that fresh start really gives you a sense of "new beginnings". After you give yourself a nice break, that fresh start should feel great on a clean slate.
But it is ultimately up to how you want to write your universe.
As for all these titles for the second book...anything except for a numbered sequel.
3032572 I'm in agreement with ya.
If it's going to be a significant time skip (like 6+ months), I'd advise a new story. If not, just keep it as one
I'd rather have it under the same title, and an epilogue for this book, also.
New story, otherwise new readers will take one look at the length and be discouraged. Plus, it's easier to keep track of events if they're in seperate stories.
So, if I'm reading this right, then the first story is finished? I haven't read it yet because it was marked Incomplete.
I vote on a Completed book 1 and a new book 2~
Depends. If it will be a six months+ time skip, I'd do a sequel. Otherwise, stick with A New World, A New Way. Honestly, just do what you think works.
I'm fine with either way but I would see more sense in making a second book. Either way I'm not complaining.
Go for it man. I'm all for it.
i think a book 2 would be better it would be like Just Another Day; Good Work Delta for me it makes it kind of confusing
Put the next book in a new story- it's easier to keep track of.
Love your story plz do more quickly

3312474 Ah...good memories
I had avoided reading this story for a long time thinking it was incomplete/dead... its better to put it as completed and then create a new story as a sequel, some people will assume this story is 'dead' and won't read it...
