From what I can gather, on today's horse episode, Gay Parade pony did thousands of dollars worth of damage while acting like a petulant child over something that's clearly not an issue.

So basically just RD being RD, got it.

I think my favorite part of the episode were pretty with any character but Rainbow Dash. The clear skies joke was the best part to me.

3015130 True. I have a feeling this episode was solely written for the purpose of exposing kids to that analogy, considering I see no purpose for it in terms of plot line.

Pretty funny episode, especially at the end. I'm gonna need time for RD's song to grow on me. That scene at RD's house nearly killed me, especially with Fluttershy smacking her with some truth.

I get a feeling that there will be a sudden increase in the number of new stories that feature Dash having abandonment issues. Probably quite a few about how her mom died when she was a filly. Also that Dash apparently has a wardrobe that she voluntarily wears.

Man, I can so relate to Dash on this episode. I know my brother is going to leave at one point an I kind of don't want it to happen. But I know it won't stop rom happening. It was very heartwarming all things considered.

It was a pretty good episode all things considered. It wasn't another episode where Rainbow Dash had to choose between who to be loyal to. The song was pretty good, but the way Rainbow sings about Tank, it's like she loves him a little too much. Not to mention that even though she had to work in Cloudsdale to send winter elsewhere, she's going to be in so much debt from the stuff she broke that her kids' kids will need to still foot the bill.

There are some good references and jokes like the "Who's on first" joke (always a classic in my book), the Game of Thrones references, and how Rainbow literally created a nuclear winter.

Rainbow though, doesn't think this through at all. I may be wrong, but most animals have biological clocks in them, and Tank must have one. Even if Rainbow WAS successful, I don't think it would've mattered. Tank would've instinctively known that winter was coming, and still fall asleep. It was a Kobatashi Maru scenario for Rainbow.

Still, this episode did have some decent character development for her, and it's always fun to see 2nd best pet (Peewee being best pet. I don't care if the writers wrote him out, he's still best pet.)

Anyway, I liked it. Dealing with loss is not easy, and they did a reasonably good job of handling the topic while keeping the overall episode light.

I would have put Eddard Stark, but there were no Twilight Sparkle-Eddard Stark images. There was a RBD one, but that wouldn't work considering she was the one bringing the winter and not saying the line.

Plus, Stark did have the throne near the end of Season 1 if you remember.
