Around Sunday there was a pretty bad downpour and electrical storm, which took out most of the power.
Certain rooms in the house still had power, but others didn't-meaning that there was no running water for the dishwasher, shaving, showering, or using the toilet-fortunately, I try to keep stocked up on jugs of water for such emergencies-so, the latter wasn't that much of an issue.
Internet also still worked for the most part, I just had to go to certain areas of the house to keep my laptop charged.
The day after, an electrician came out to see what the problem was and then said that they had to have some kind of "bid" for someone to come out and take care of it.
The day after that, a few guys came out to resolve the issue with the electrical cord under the house before one of them obliterated the internet cable while digging it up.
It wasn't until a few hours ago that they came back and resolved that issue.
