    Look at me, being productive

    Hello, Fimfiction. It's me, Aceman.

Been a long time, but work over the past few years as kicked my ass, and then the pandemic hit and I lost my job in November, so guess who has time on his hands?

    This guy.

The new Story is Blind Hope, a redo of my "In LIghts Shadow" story I wrote a few years ago and royally fucked up.

    Enjoy.

    In Light's Shadow - Cancelled

I started to rewrite In Light's Shadow, but the complete deviation from story necessitated writing an entirely new story.

    Stay tuned.

Story Title change · 5:23am Apr 17th, 2015

During the site's downtime today, I actually had some time to think on a new title, and the help I got from the Crossovers and Star Trek Ponies group helped immeasurably.

I've decided on the title "You Can't Go Home Again". If you're familiar with the phrase, it can be meant both literal and metaphorical. On the latter, its means that over time, you change, and things are never the same again, what you thought was your home no longer is, and who you thought you were is not the case. The more you change, you find yourself unable to recapture the feelings you had in the past.

What I have in mind for the story's conclusion (that is a long way off, I hope), falls in line with this line of thought.

The title is the same as a novel by Thomas Wolfe, and is an homage to the great work.
