You know, I find it almost comical how many people can just spam a dislike button on a story that's gotten tons of good reviews without even reading it or giving a bit of feedback on WHY they don't like it.
Yeah, Erabac was a bit harsh on his criticisms, but at least he had the decency to say WHY he hit dislike! (Not to mention, I've actually talked with him since and...... he DID make some good points.)
But most of the dislikes are from people who don't even take the time to say what they don't like, or if they DO.... they act like that D troll (don't remember his name) and just put one word, then a schmuck picture and think that's clever!
Filles, Gentlecolt readers.... I get that my story is not as good as my first one, but if you're going to dislike it... do me a big favor and at least tell me why or what you have a problem with and more than half the time, I'd be willing to dive into the story and personally alter it to make you guys happier. I think many of you forget that FimFiction ALLOWS edits to be made after publishing!
So yeah, if you're gonna give this a thumbs down, at least do the courteous thing and say WHY. Otherwise, you end up looking like a grade-a jerk and I can't improve my skills since, unlike Princess Twilight Sparkle, I AM NOT A MIND READER.
That is so true. People should at least say what's wrong to help improve. And since when could Twilight read minds?
