It has come to my attention that making a chapter promoting a sequel is against the rules (which seems silly but anyway). So I have posted that 'chapter' here.

Well first of all, yay! Second, it is? Like... huh? How does THAT work? I posted a chapter like that last week and didn't hear anything about it... Granted I wrote in it more then just the link, like the Sequel's description followed by a very small sneak preview, but still. I've seen it all over the place elsewhere in older AND newer stories!

Don't Post - Chapter updates that aren’t part of the story itself, such as chapters notifying readers of sequels, hiatuses, etc.

Huh. I GUESS that makes sense with the hiatus thing. Sequels though... well even reprinted books tell you which stories are next! Maybe just have the link to the next story in the final Author's note then? Or do what I did and have a "NEXT TIME ON BLANK" chapter which ends with the link? I don't know. it still seems really REALLY silly to me but I kinda sorta understand... maybe... Eh.

Either way, grats on the sequel again!

From what I understand, having a sneak preview of the sequel is good enough for the notification to not be removed.

EDIT: it's still a bullshit rule, though. At the very least, an exception should be made for sequel notifications.
