I'll be at BABSCon in San Francisco this next weekend. Several of us are coordinating a hangout room for writers, readers, and the general fiction side of the community. xjuggernaughtx is getting a large room for us to use, starting Saturday afternoon. Horizon, Jesse, and I are working to get a hold of beverages (alcoholic and non) and snacks for the room.
As far as we've planned so far, everyone will be welcome to come chill and have a few drinks and whatever on Saturday, and in general, we want it to be a go-to place to meet up with other fanfic people at BABS. We'll have more details as they emerge (such as the actual room location) so stay tuned here, or follow Horizon or XJX for other details.
As for me, I'll be getting in late Thursday night, around midnight, with not much to do. If anyone else is going to be there and up late, let me know, and we can snag a drink or something at the hotel bar, or just hang out for a short bit before it gets too late.
Lastly, I know I've been awful about updating anything here on fimfic, with no story or blog updates for the better part of a year. That's going to change soon! New story material is incoming! 
I really have to get down to that con one of these years.
