Ultimate Irony in the history of TV.

It is known that the seeds of this wonderful fandom were planted when people saw memes about the first episode back in October of 2010 on the internet. The memes were probably just made as a joke, but people who were curious about the memes inspected the show, and genuinely enjoyed it, and the cycle continued with new pony memes making more people curious, and so the herd grew.

    Spike's relations with Twilight

In many fanfics that I've read recently (which is a lot), when Spike is mentioned in a group, he is almost never referred to as one of Twilight's friends nor a member of her family.

I finally watched Rainbow Rocks just now, and I have some questions.

I watched it on Netflix on instant view (cause I'm cheap like that, instead of spending money to watch it in theaters or download it, I just waited for it for free) with my little sister, and I am left with several questions:

A celebrity I would be interested in seeing in Season 5

I'm not sure if anyone else has done a blog like this before, but maybe this will start something, maybe get some ideas going.

Spike's relations with Twilight · 5:32am Mar 25th, 2015

In many fanfics that I've read recently (which is a lot), when Spike is mentioned in a group, he is almost never referred to as one of Twilight's friends nor a member of her family.
So I have a couple questions for anyone who was willing to spend 2 minutes reading this blog and is willing to spend 2 more minutes answering the upcoming questions: What do you think Spike's relationship with Twilight actually is? How do you think Spike views it? How do you think Twilight views it?
Answers may include, but not limited to: brother/sister, son/mother, slave/master, loyal servant/master, friend/friend.

Truth be told, I seem to think it as a mixture between mother/son relationship as well as master/slave relationship.

The meaning behind these two choices is that if you notice Spike seems to have a strong devotion to Twilight and her opinions that normally slaves wouldn't have, and he even spends the time to try and help her relax of calm down when she is troubled, much as a son or friend might do.

In Twilight's case she also treats him like a son, but tends to pile on the chores and demands that spike has to do, sometimes while not being aware or caring of the pain/trouble it causes for spike, much as a Master might feel. Early on in season one we see this clearly, Twilight not seeming to care of the wounds Spike sustains, like when he got hit in the head with a rock while practicing he'd spells.

Yet later on we also see her caring and worried side for him when he goes to discover if he is truly a dragon, risking her own life to defend him and make sure he succeeds. This is familiar of a motherly care.

Anyway, this is just my opinion, feel free to argue your points.

2908728 Excellent points. I agree, Twilight does seem to be care for Spike's emotional state, and, minus the time he was a pin cushion in Green Isn't Your Color, hasn't really seemed to care for his physical state. Spike seems to care deeply for Twilight's well being, like a brother or a friend would.
In Winter Wrap Up, Spike referred to Twilight as "sister" while she was sulking in the bush.
