Con-cerning writings and (pre)readings · 9:41am Mar 22nd, 2015
In fit of "why the hell not?", I have decided to bang out an entry for the EFNW 2015 Pre-Con Contest, the theme being "Making new friends".
However, the always wonderful Themaskedferret (who for reasons why I can't quite fathom agreed to be pre-reader and advice-giver for the output of my most recent wild keyboard mashings) has come down with a dose of the 'orrible lurgies. You should all go and wish Themaskedferret well, for without her prompting I probably wouldn't have got inspired enough to forge new writings (crafted from the finest of hand-picked electrons and photons, delivered fresh from my brain to your eyeballs).
Anyway, this leaves me in a bit of a bind as I would like a fresh set of eyeballs, and the resulting attached brainmeats, to give my entry a once- or twice-over before I publish for FIM Fiction and submit to the judging panel. If you feel you're up to giving my entry a pre-read and are capable of giving useful advice, either leave a comment or send me a PM, and I'll forward you the GoogleDocs link in a PM.
