Hello people, this is Rakni with a writer update for Of Dragons and Mortals.
Hope you people didn't think I was dead or anything! Though I'd forgive you for thinking that, given the lack of updates and stuff.
My excuse? Family drama, personal stuff, a brief stint in the hospital, just... lots of stuff at once. It's been a busy and emotional couple of months.
But i have something new to report! Chapter 13 of ODaM has been sent out to the editors. That's right, it's all done but for the final round of editing. Finally.
I can't tell you how glad I am to be able to give you people the good news. If nothing else goes horribly wrong, the chapter should be posted in a few days, so here's hoping you'll be looking forward to it!

If it helps, you aren't alone. A mix of real life and writer's block kept me gone for a few months too.

2867711 Thankfully I'm getting back into the swing of things. Let's just say I've learned not to try and work on a chapter to three different stories at the same time; it doesn't really end well.

And I'm glad to see that you are well and with us, even with the brief hospital stay. Never feel sorry for delays because of RL--we all understand completely the reasons. As much as we can spend a lot of time in this place we always have to remember that priorities always come first before hobbies.
