Well, here it is, my first blog post. A couple of months ago, back in November I believe, I started working on a story involving Discord's past. it is currently in its infancy and already I'm picking it apart. I had never written a story before and had up until then never thought of writing one. Most people on this site can attest to the fact that if you stick around here long enough, there will come a time in which you'll get a nagging idea in your mind; one that must be explored to its conclusion.
My idea involved Discord's rather unexplored past. I've always seen him as a wounded soul. Chaos being more like a suit of armor rather then something naturally present in his personality. I saw him as the coyote in Native American mythology. The playful, creative spirit that carries with it the knowledge of things long forgotten.
Admittedly, writing does not come as naturally to me as the line of a pen or pencil. However, I do not want to leave it unfinished. So, to reignite my interest I drew Discord the way I see him. Hopefully the lines of this drawing will transition to word.
It's amazing. I'm really looking forward to the tale.
