If you want ideas for a story, then I suggest doing what I did and am still doing. Read a lot of stories (I used long ones), summarise those stories, then get story ideas (interesting features- characters, events, places), chose a few from each story, change them, and then combine some from many stories, and then develop a story in your mind. All you need to do then is write a story.

That is how I started my first (and currently only) story.
