Many people loved the Season4 finale for its epicness and the second Equestria Girls movie is both much better and more popular than the first one, and indeed got myself back into the fandom after a months long break. As a matter of fact about 80% of pony stuff I enjoyed over these past months was actually Equestria Girls stuff.
Aaaand they announced an ACTUAL FiM movie for... 2017
