Soooo I got evicted from my home on Saturday. · 3:16am Feb 4th, 2015
Twas fun.
A couple officers woke me up when I was home alone, being lazy and sleeping cause I had the day off work.
My stuff was thrown to the curb in the snow, and then another snowstorm came in.
...yyyyeeeeaahhh it's been a fun few days doing damage control.
Don't expect any updates for a while; life's continuing march on my balls has pretty much halted all that while I try to hold this family together.
Oh well, at least I've still got my job as a pizza delivery guy, my grandparents are letting us stay there, and the landlady didn't end up having to scoop up bits of my brain matter.
I really do hope things get better for you.

So, wait, in the US, the police just show up and then they physically toss all your stuff out of the house? The fuck?
Over here you'd get a notice, at least, "Have the place empty and ready to hand over by the end of next week" kind of thing.

No; we are given advanced warning here in the U.S. unless someone lied so they can rent the room to someone else faster.
