It unfortunate that I feel I need to write an update post but things have put me into an unfortunate position.
With that foreboding statement made, let me follow up with some reassurance.
The latest chapter of Edge of the Coffin is far along in being written. In fact there is only a little bit left to write!
The bad news is that I've gotten all... fluey. Sickness has taken hold in my tummy and is preventing me from doing much of anything. If my ability to fight off disease is any indicator it probably won't last that long. I haven't had a flu in probably fourteen years.
Wasn't there some thing about idiots never getting sick?
Normally I would not bother to write up a blog like this since I'd rather just spend the time writing the story. But as sickness has taken hold and since people seem genuinely interested in it I figured it was a good idea.
This will be the largest chapter to date! It will also be the longest time period between updates! Whoops!
In fact a lot of the story has been actions and actions with few consequences to show for them. This latest chapter will be chock full of those consequences.
However, it was definitely poor planning on my part to write up another chapter just before the holidays that further put off a lot of consequences. Definitely would have been better to shoot the two chapters out in rapid succession then put one just before I was busiest with holidays followed by unexpected job stuff. So, sorry about that.
The whole, writing things for people who actually read them is pretty new to me so thanks for bearing with here.
So when will this new chapter emerge!?
Well, probably not too long from now. Like I said, there's only a bit left to do with it! I don't want to set out dates, because if I miss the dates because I'm sicker for longer or something else comes up then I just look like a jerk.
So vaguely, I say in not too long there will be new content.
With that all said I will drag my sickly form back into bed. So as always,
