I tried my hand at the fairest form of creativity once again, with expectedly bad results. So If you think you can control your gag reflex for long enough to survey my crappy, self-congratulatory fan art, continue.

This may or may not have involved some plagerization from pics I found of Nightmare Moon. I hope I can eventually refine one of these enough to make it the cover art.
Astral Nacre
There's her body...
Yay! There's her head! Basically a skull with the barest muscles and flesh pulled over it. Her wings are just long slices of bone embedded into the tissue, and her tail and mane are braided tendrils that she uses to bind prey. Since she can's really smile, I just imagine her pulling taunt the bare musculature of what should have been a mouth.

Yeah, it's my map of the world, first draft. I haven't put much thought in to climates or geography yet, but you can obviously see that's a warped version of Earth. World geopolitics are a hobby of mine, so even when I write about isolated events I can't help but think globally.
