    Hello all.

I'm certain you're all waiting patiently for my next chapter, but I want you all to know that I am open to suggestions. So if you have any ideas, don't hesitate to throw them my way.

    Next story

As I wait for my proofreader to respond to me, I've been thinking of what to do for another story. I was thinking about Braeburn and a minor character like Zecora, Fleur, or the Spa Twins.

Prompt 3 · 11:19pm Jan 23rd, 2015

"I just can't understand why anyone would rebel against Princess Celestia." Rarity said when they were all assembled back in Twilight's castle, in their meeting room.
"Yeah, things are great!" Rainbow Dash chimed in. "Things have always been great under Celestia! Why are they complaining?"
"Well, Ah think we should try to understand their point of view." Applejack said. "How many times has Ponyville and Equestria been threatened? Nightmare Moon, the napping dragon, Discord, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, the Tree of Friendship, Tirek...Ah mean, we're the ones who always stopped them and all Celestia did was alert us and send us off to deal with it. And whenever she did try to do something, she got badly beaten. That's got to have damaged her image."
"Yeah!" Pinkie chirped. "Whenever the ruling class is doing a dissatisfactory job in protecting the masses or is starting to look weak in the eyes of the public, the public will revolt."
Everyone gaped at Pinkie.
"What? You think all I do is spout memes and just be a random ditz?"
"But...Celestia's always been the ruler..." Fluttershy said.
"Maybe that's the problem." Applejack said. "Celestia and Luna have been ruling for who knows how many years and the world's changed vastly ever since then. I guess ponies are tired of having a diarchy and having to rely on and obey such high caliber rulers. Maybe things should change..."
Twilight hadn't said anything. Celestia had been her teacher and hero all her life and she had never once considered that Celestia was capable of making a bad decision. But a part of her always nagged away at her, questioning Celestia's decisions, picking apart her missions, pointing out the logical fallacies and questionable priorities, but the filly in Twilight always pushed it away. Even with her ascension and castle, she'd accepted it all with a smile on her, ignoring the pit forming inside her from having such a humongous responsibility placed on her with her very body and rank in the world permanently changed, all that Twilight wondered if she really wanted. But she had accepted it all. Why? Because Celestia said so and Celestia was always right. After all, Celestia cared for everyone, right? She always knew what was best, right? She would never do anything petty, wrong, or evil, right? Celestia was perfect...
...Right?

You're really improving! I love Pinkie Pie line and i love the way Twilight is starting to doubt, so simple and yet so powerful!

Hey, there was a time when Pinkie actually had a brain in her head.

One thing I should acknowledge is collateral damage. Ponies who were affected by Discord, traumatized by the Changelings, the vines, wondering why the hell there's a giant tree and a whole new empire out of the blue.

I'm also gonna try to put in a Take That at EqG.

2743056 Sounds good to me. Just remember to not make things to dark, add some bit of humor if you want.

I'll try to. Next, I think I'll have Goldstein giving a speech to his followers. Maybe how a benevolent dictatorship is still a dictatorship?

A thousand thank you's for that part with Pinkie.
