Remember the HiE fic I mentioned some time ago?
No?
Yeah, figures. It's not like anybody is reading my blog posts :P
Doesn't matter, I'll post it nontheless, as sort of a chronicler's duty.
Sooo... I'm making progress. Slowly, but steadily. I don't want to rush it, I hate rushed stories.
So far there are two chapters, and a third one in the making. They're even posted on Fimfiction, but I hid it with a password. Yeah, I don't think I'm ready to share it with wide audience yet...
The second thing is, if you look into my library, you won't notice much HiE fics. Maybe two or three tops. Up to ten, if you count Warframe crossovers. Why am I writing HiE then?
Well, it's kinda too late to back out. I have the whole fic already planned in my head, from beginning to an end (which is rare, honestly. Usually I just can think about the beginning and something near the end, the rest comes very hard), I even have most of it on paper, in form of an outline, synopsis of sorts.
This fic will be something like a sandbox for me. I know what I want to do with it, and thanks to that I can concentrate on writing itself, to increase and polish my skills.
The way I write will probably evolve with time, change. In a year or so I'll come back to read what I wrote again and I'll be like "Oh sweet Celestia's mighty plot... Did I... Did I really wrote it..?".
But you have to begin somewhere, right? You can't change if you don't work on yourself.
And anyone started from scratch. The Rome was not built in one day.
So those are the first bricks I lay.
I can't hope to build the Rome of my own, but I can aim for the Colloseum at least.
Oh, and one more thing: if you somehow happen to stumble upon this blog post, for whatever reason, and you are not highly repelled by the very words "Human in Equestria", I am looking for a few people, that would read what I wrote so far and give me some feedback. I'd really appreciate that.
