I'm Calling a Vote! · 5:12am Jan 6th, 2015
Well, two actually.
You see, me hearties, you all are the crew of The Moraine with I as your humble captain. Now, for those of you who aren't so history savy on pirates, brush up, motherfuckers! one of the biggest things that pop culture fucks up in pirate lore is that the Captain makes all the decisions. This is true in that the captain is the figurehead of the ship and serves as commander during battles, storms, and other times of crisis. However, most of the decisions of a pirate vessel were made by the most democratic of practices; an unweighted vote among the entire crew.
So, that is what I'm presenting to you. Here are your voting options:
1. Would you rather me continue work on All Along the Watchtower, or would you lot prefer I take a break and write a few smaller stories?
2. Thus far, as I said after getting bogged down in Starcrossed before handing it off, I have specifically neglected to publish any developed chapters of All Along the Watchtower and other drafts so that I don't get people hyped and anticipating only to loose my rhythm and not update for months. Would you rather I continue keeping the stories unpublished until they are totally complete, or would you rather I go ahead and publish what I have and update as it comes?
Poll closes in 24 hours. Please vote on these options, either by commenting below or PMing me directly, especially if you have questions. Seriously, guys. I want everyone of you who can to vote. If there's 114 of you guys following me and I just hear back from three or four people, then that defeats the purpose of calling this vote. While I would encourage you all to vote your conscience and don't let me or anyone else dissuade you, If it were me being asked to vote, I'd personally throw my lot in with working on a few smaller projects and not publishing anything until all the chapters are complete. But that's just me. Good luck and godspeed.
With steadfast loyalty,
Pirate King Fowler
1. Maybe writing some smaller ones could be a warm-up first before starting something big.
2. Publish it completed so you don't have to hear

That's my thoughts exactly. Thank you for voting.

You're welcome.
Well, I'm sorry for being late to the party, school does that to you.
But I would in all honesty like to see something of all along the watchtower. It's the first story I've legitimately felt sorta hyped about, and I've been aching to read something good for a while.
After reading along, I think that working on smaller projects might help you out more in the long run, just to get some creative juices flowing for any longer projects.
One of the people I watch for updates from on youtube, Jan Animations, said that working on one project at a time is bad for your health, and that if you work on several projects, your a lot less likely to burn out on any individual one.
In any case, I hope my thoughts help you in some way old friend.
