Post Part VII Look Ahead · 11:00am Jan 4th, 2015
Evening, all!
So upon the successful publishing of Part VII, I realized that there's quite a bit of things that I want to include in this story. Thus, my original estimate of 16 to 20 parts may be a bit of an underestimation. This is just from a preliminary view, of course, but with all the hilarity and chaos I want to throw in, I'm considering upping the limit to about 25 or 27 parts, so most likely somewhere slightly above 100,000 words if my average words per chapter holds firm. Tons of laughs and coitus await us all the entire way, make no mistake of it; as well as many, many more d'aww moments that we all are fond of in any story.
So, just a little update. I started on Part VIII already as well, and by 'started,' I meant 'wrote the title.'
Any and all comments are welcome. See ya in the story comments or in Part VIII!
I think the other question on everyone's mind is HOW LONG will that take to pump out hehe. Like, how far ahead have you planned and so on?
2699612 I'm really unorthodox when I write. The usual thing is Plan>Outline>Draft>Edit>Publish. I only do that for SOME chapters, usually ones that are pivotal and extraordinarily important to the story as a whole. When I begin a story, I always work out the beginning and the end of it while I fill in the details in the middle. More often than not I wing it. I know that I want to include a PARTICULAR event or scene, but the rest is just what my mind manages to shit out and I dust it off into something presentable. Then I edit it and publish.
So, to answer the question of 'how much do I have planned?' Well, that's pretty variable. Few things are set in stone lol. How long? Depends how much life wants to get in the way.
2699619 Just to put myself out there if you need any help at all just drop me a line and I'll see what I can do to help speed things up if at all
do not set a limit the story will tell you what it needs, setting limits is just to easy to get trapped and you will end up forcing the story.
as to Alcatraz's question I have helped a few authors in the past and I tell them all the same thing a story can not be rushed they will happen when it is there time not before.
I've been following this story of yours since it was featured, though I haven't commented at all because I accidentally set it to the Read Later shelf instead of tracking! I'm am very impressed with your style and ability, and I'm delighted that you've got more than shameless clop planned for this; while I do enjoy a good romp in the hay work of clop, I just adore ones with story that is meaningful, makes you care for the characters, etc. Do keep up the excellent work!
By any chance have taken a look at a new fanmade Metroid game in development on youtube. They are attempting to remake "Metroid 2: The Return of Samus" with Metroid: Zero Mission's game engine and art design as a base template.
Denfinately worth looking at.
2699855 Well, thank you very much for your kind words, and I'm glad that you're enjoying yourself as much as you say you are
