At last, I am free! Time to [strike]conquer Earth[/strike] write fanfiction!
Posting because I have followers now (hello Entalphy!) and there are people actually interested in what I might write, which is totally a new situation for me.
So there's good news and bad news. The good news is that the last exam - which I probably failed, totall nor my fault, but who cares - was today, meaning I now have time for ponies.
The bad news is that unless I have a sudden attack of inspiration, the first fic to appear here might not be the Vampony Pileup (working title), on account of not being clear what should happen in it in anything but brad strokes. Hopefully you'll find the competition interesting as well.
The Sorceress and her Minions (also working title)
Twilight Sparkle is a magically talented recluse living in a literal ivory tower, student of The Princess herself, arrogant, antisocial and has a dragon sidekick she bosses around. Some would call her a nerd who got it real lucky. More like an Evil Sorceress in the making if Spike has anything to say about that. Everypony knows a real Big Bad has their Dragon, a powerful general of an army of Evil Minions, manager of a great pile of wealth, possibly owner of a harem of hot mares and often the one secretly running this show.
And here is the opportunity! Twilight has found Equestria stands on the preceipe of disaster: the Summer Sun Celebration is tomorrow, which means Nigmare Moon will soon come back to Equestria!
In 5 years. And the Princess' response is "I'm sending you to Ponyville, you need to get out of the library and make some friends." Clearly, Twilight Sparkle needs to become a voice that cannot be ignored, and prepare to defeat the Nightmare herself if need be.
Will Twilight avert the disaster? Can Spike realize his dreams? Will the rest of the mane 6 grasp the opportunity themselves? Does this pitch leave any doubt? Is this a decent candidate for the long description?
