Majorly Late for Predictable Reasons · 9:40am Dec 29th, 2014

Ladies and gentlemen who still read my blog, the time has come. For those of you who care, you likely noticed I missed my November blog. The holidays have gotten to me. In addition, my usual sense of absenteeism has taken hold, and I have realized that my blogs here had lost much of their weight on readers, as many of the readers have faded, or at the very least are no longer vocal about their own existence.

Such is the world we live in. Things come and go, people gain and lose interest, and myself and the fandom at large appear to be among those things. Once popular, both, we are each less so.

The time has come for me to discontinue my posting on FimFiction altogether, until such a time as I have a new medium of conveyance. At that time, I will make one final post inviting all of you, my old readers and friends, to follow me to my new home: one of my own design.

Without further ado, here are the last of my updates for the foreseeable future:

The entire purpose behind this discontinuation of communication is that I hope a website more tooled to my current interests and works (one of my own design) is not far off. I am currently waiting on the funds to purchase both a new PC, and a new software suite which will facilitate the design and deployment of such a website. I've discussed this venture here and there in the past, and am ready to move ahead with it mentally, if not monetarily. Hopefully the latter comes into shape soon. Basically, I see no purpose purchasing the software and beginning design now, when I intend to upgrade my system soon as well, so the delay for the design is extended somewhat by the system upgrade.

I intend to post many writings to the future site, as well as resume updates on all of the items which I may not post for free (my more publish-worthy works). I hope some of you will follow me there.

As for those publish-worthy works, they are in varying stages of completion, but all worked on and thought through. I am eager to have more time soon (I do not now) to work on them, and to have a better medium/location to explain my thoughts, if not post sneak peaks and bits and pieces.

I am eager to be back to work on what I love, but work for the sake of money (and by way of money, improvement) has my attention for the time being. Such is life. The holidays have done me no favors in that regard.

Sorry to keep it short, but this is more of a parting, for the time being, than it is an update. I look forward to seeing you all again soon, and preferably elsewhere, on terms much more my own. Chris Bowling can come too.

Best regards,
Aaron.

Will the future site be linked before you make your leave? I'd like to follow your work if at all possible. Good luck on everything as well, and I mean it sincerely I believe you have a hell of a shot at doing some good with your work.

Thank you for the awesome stories.

I do not recall if I have commented before, but I want you to know that I have been rooting for you and following your progress the best I can. I hope to see you at your new site, whenever it comes.

~Your silent follower, Iso~

I'll see you there.

Why did you quit, again? Just got bored of ponies?

In a nutshell.

Ah, it is fine to see you're keeping us updated to your best.
And well... I'm happy to hear when the new site will be up, I just want to make sure that I can stalk you without having to say the final goodbyes :D
